Bronze Plaques (patinated)

We use solid bronze (standard thickness is 1.5mm) that is precision etched

and normally infilled either white or ivory for a prestigious and very legible contrast.

A patina is applied which is a coveted feature that adds character and depth to bronze plaques.

Rather than diminishing their appeal, a well-formed patina is seen as an enhancement signifying age and prestige.

(Patinated bronze refers to a technique whereby, after the etching process,

a thin layer of chemicals is applied to age the bronze which enables

a greater degree of control over the final colour and finish of our plaques).
